1.Citadel
Based on the ancient practice of geomancy, the Citadel was designed and planned around the natural elements in the area north of the Perfume river. The construction of the Citadel took place from 1805 to 1832.
2.Thien Mu Pagoda
Built in 1601 between a river and a pine forest, the Thien Mu Pagoda (“Heavenly Lady Pagoda”) in Hue is one of the oldest and prettiest religious buildings in the country. Among the many interesting artifacts housed at the complex is the car that took the monk Thich Quang Duc to his self-immolation in 1963 Saigon.
3.Tomb of Khai Dinh
Construction began in 1920 and was completed in 1931. Under Khai Dinh, Western culture and influence began to seep intoVietnam. As a result, his tomb has many elements of Western architecture.
4.Tomb of Minh Mang
It is a large complex with 40 buildings. The buildings are centered on a line from the main gate to the tomb.
